His sports practice encompasses the management of complex ankle instability, tendon pathology, and the specific demands of returning high-performance athletes to competition. He has served as a team physician in international sport, bringing direct experience of the pressures and clinical realities of managing foot and ankle problems at the highest level of athletic competition.

His research interests include the biomechanics and biological properties of MIS techniques, outcome measurement in forefoot surgery, and the application of artificial intelligence to surgical planning and radiological analysis. He leads a portfolio of technology development projects aimed at advancing objective, imaging-based assessment in foot and ankle practice and has a several patents and products in the field.

Anthony is committed to the values that underpin FAF — honest scientific exchange, collaborative problem-solving, and the kind of critical intellectual environment that only a small group of trusted peers can provide. He joins FAF as both a contributor and an enthusiastic learner, and looks forward to building something of lasting value with this exceptional group of colleagues.
